Man Dies in Essex Shooting on Ashbridge Drive


Baltimore County Police are investigating a shooting that injured two people in Essex this afternoon.

Police responded to the 900 block of Ashbridge Drive in Essex on Monday, Jan. 4 at 1:25 p.m. and found two male victims suffering from gunshot wounds outside of the Kings Mill Apartments and Townhomes.

Both victims were transported to an area hospital. One of two victims involved in a shooting in Essex yesterday has died.

Kenneth Andre Chamberlain (25) of the 100 block of North Central Avenue, 21202 suffered at least one gunshot wound to the upper body after exiting an apartment building in the Kings Mill Apartments and Townhomes community with the second victim, a 26-year-old man who also suffered at least one gunshot wound to the upper body.

Detectives are asking anyone who may have seen anyone or anything in that area at the time of the shooting to contact detectives by calling 410-307-2020. Callers may remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward when submitting tips through Metro Crime Stoppers.
