A head-on motor vehicle crash was reported in Perry Hall on Wednesday night.
It was reported that the crash took place at the corner of Belair and Joppa roads around 9 p.m.
One driver did not get out of the car after the crash.
No other details at this time.

The White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company reported crews responded to a two vehicle crash at Philadelphia Road and Campbell Bouelvard in White Marsh on Tuesday, March 8 at 6:25 p.m
Two people from one of the vehicles were transported to a hospital trauma center.

The Wawa of Perry Hall held its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, March 3. The store is located at the intersection of Belair Road and Honeygo Boulevard near the Perry Hall Library. Councilman David Marks was one of the dignitaries at the event.
“The corner of Belair Road and Honeygo Boulevard was zoned for commercial development in 2000. A shopping center was approved two years before my election. Our office persuaded the developer to reject uses that would be more appropriate elsewhere – Lidl located to the Mars supermarket site instead, for example. Surrounding neighborhoods were actively engaged as plans for Wawa moved forward,” Marks explained.
“The Wawa offers more choice for motorists and employs local residents – and is already giving back to the community. Today, the store made a donation to Gunpowder Elementary as it recognized Kirsten Roller for her work on the playground project.”
Two pedestrians were struck on Sunday night as they attempted to cross Pulaski Highway in Rosedale. One of them was killed at the scene on March 6 around 8:20 p.m.
Members of the Baltimore County Crash Team determined the driver of the 2006 BMW 750i, that struck the pedestrians, was traveling west on Pulaski Highway, in the westbound lane, approaching Batavia Farm Road when the crash occurred.
36-year-old Darious T. Eason, was pronounced deceased on the scene. The second pedestrian, who suffered minor injuries, was transported to an area hospital. A preliminary investigation indicates the pedestrians involved in this crash were crossing against the pedestrian signal and were outside the crosswalk when they were struck.
Investigators continue to review all factors involved in this crash

Eastern Baltimore County has been well represented in the state high school boys basketball playoffs. Three area teams made it to the their State Quarterfinals in three of the four classifications.
Parkville and Overlea basketball teams have advanced to the semifinals of their respective classifications. Kenwood fell in their quarterfinal game.
Parkville improved to 23-0 after an 84-40 win over Duval in the 4A Boys Basketball State Quarterfinals. The Knights returned to their second straight 4A State Semifinals. Parkville did not get an opportunity to play for the state title in 2020 as the semifinals were canceled during the COVID-19 outbreak. The full 2021 basketball playoffs were canceled.
Overlea advanced to their first state semifinals since 1992 with a 70-66 over Williamsport High School from Washington County in the 2A Boys Basketball State Quarterfinals. Overlea is now 19-4 on the year.
The Falcons defeated 77-22 Sparrows Point in the 2A Regional Semifinals and defeated Carver of Baltimore City 55-36.
The season came to an end for Kenwood as the Bluebirds lost to Atholton 62-55. The Bluebirds finished the season with a 18-5 record.
They defeated Edgewood 52-51 in 3A Regional Semifinals and defeated CM Wright by 1 point 55-54 in the Regional Finals.

There were reports and photos on social media that the Essex Cube was removed on Friday, March 4.
The Heritage Society of Essex and Middle River, Inc, which announced last year that the Cube would be replaced by a new landmark, confirmed the removal on Friday. The cube is now at the museum. A statement was released by the museum on Friday.
“As many of you may have noticed, the Essex Cube has been relocated from its location on Eastern Blvd. to make way for the new Essex Landmark Sculpture, which will be installed later this Spring. Rest assured, the Cube is safe in storage until it can be reinstalled at the Heritage Society of Essex and Middle River (Essex Museum). The Heritage Society is working closely with the Chesapeake Gateway Chamber of Commerce and its Eastern Baltimore County Task Force to ensure that the Cube will be preserved for ourselves and future generations. More details will follow, and we will be asking for the community’s support with this project,” said the statement.
“We are looking forward to the beautiful new Essex Landmark sculpture which represents the beauty and hardworking people in our community. Progress is a great thing, and these are exciting times for Essex.”
The removal of the Essex Cube has brought some controversy as some folks were wearing “Save the Cube” shirts at last year’s Essex Day.
The Fullerton Fireworks Foundation announced that its firework show will return for the first time since 2019 on Sunday, July 3. The 2020 and 2021 events were canceled because of COVID-19.
The field at Fullerton Elementary School will open at 3 p.m. with vendors selling food. Hotdogs, hamburgers, funnel cakes, crab cakes and pit beef are among the food items that will be sold by vendors.
The band “Awaken” will starting playing at 5 p.m. The fireworks are scheduled to begin at 9:15 p.m.
The Fullerton Fireworks Foundation is still looking for sponsors. Sponsorship packages start at $50 and corporate sponsor packages are available for $6,000.

Baltimore County police officers responded to the 1900 block of Ewald Avenue in Dundalk for reports of a shooting on Wednesday, March 2 around 2:30 p.m.
When officers arrived they located a male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Medics transported the victim, 43-year-old Tayvon Scott, to an area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Baltimore County homicide detectives continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding this shooting. Anyone with information regarding the case is being asked to call 410-307-2020.
Baltimore County Police reported officers responded to Chesapeake High School in the 1800 block of Turkey Point Road in Essex in reference to an assault and disturbance.
The incident was reported Wednesday afternoon.
At least, one person has been arrested.

Baltimore County Police received information that more than 50 headstones were damaged at St. Michael’s Ukrainian Cemetery in Dundalk.
The incident was called into police on Wednesday, Feb. 23 around 4 p.m.
Detectives continue to investigate this case.
