The busy weekend continued for local firefighters as the North Point Edgemere Volunteer Fire Department reported a shed/chicken coop fire on Saturday night, April 30 in Dundalk.

According to reports, drivers on I-695 by Cove Road spotted the fire at the end of Rosebank Avenue and called fire crews.

“Our crew supplied other units with 1000 gallons from the tank, and assisted with overhaul to extinguish hot spots,” the North Point Edgemere Volunteer Fire Department explained in a social media post.

There was no report on what caused the fire.

This has been a busy few days for firefighters. There was an afternoon townhome fire on Flagship Road in Old Dundalk and a Bowleys Quarters townhome fire on Saturday afternoon.
