County Emergency Management Concerned About Flash Floods

Baltimore County Emergency Management released a social post about the projection of heavy rain on Wednesday.

“We are becoming more concerned about flash flooding in Baltimore County. US National Weather Service Baltimore/Washington is calling for 4-6 inches of rain Wednesday afternoon through early Thursday AM,” said the statement.

The red area has the greatest chance of flooding. The following impacts may occur:
-Road flooding, river flooding, and coastal flooding
-Isolated tornadoes
-Wind-driven tree damage and power loss

“BCO Emergency Management will be staffing our Emergency Operations Center to monitor for any community damage or impacts. We will be working with first response agencies, public works, and other storm response partners.”
