Baltimore County Police officers responded to the 900 block of Maplehurst Lane in Monkton in reference to a domestic disturbance on Monday around 6:15 a.m.
Officers on the scene located an adult female with trauma-related injuries who was pronounced deceased.
A person of interest is being questioned. There was no further information.
There is currently no threat to the community.
