Baltimore County crews received a call for a bear attack in northern Baltimore County. The incident was reported in the area of Beckleysville & Gunpowder roads in the Prettyboy Hiking Trail.
Responding units confirmed that a female saw a bear in the woods and screamed to warn others.
She tripped while running away and fell into bushes, causing minor scratches. The bear made no contact with the female.
The person was treated for minor injuries from her fall, but was not transported
