Baltimore County Police are investigating a Jan. 7 shooting that occurred in the 7900-block of Belair Road in Fullerton At 10:30 p.m., police were called to the parking lot of the Putty Hill Plaza for a shooting. Officers were able to later locate the victim after the man drove himself to a local hospital. Police determined that the man drove into the parking lot in order to make a phone call.
While inside his car, the victim observed a suspect, armed with a handgun, walking up to his car. The victim drove off as the suspect approached, but was shot when the suspect fired the weapon. The victim suffered a gunshot wound to his upper extremity. His injuries are suspected to be non-life threatening.
