2020 Holiday Schedule for East Baltimore County

Here is a limited list of 2020 Holiday Events in Eastern Baltimore County. Many events have been canceled as a result of COVID-19. Many of these events require masks and follow social distancing rules. If there is an event missing please contact us at eastbaltco@gmail.com

Holiday Train Garden at White Marsh VFC
General admission is Saturday & Sunday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Monday through Friday 3 to 9 p.m. Private scheduled Admission is from 2 to 3 p.m. Monday to Friday. To schedule an appointment go to https://calendly.com/wmvfc/15min?month=2020-11

COVID policies are in place to help provide a safe and enjoyable visit. The train garden is located at 10331 Philadelphia Road, White Marsh, Maryland 21162.

Santa and Wise Avenue VFC to Tour Dundalk
The Wise Avenue Volunteer Fire Company (WAVFC) announced on its website a schedule of their annual tradition of bringing Santa around on the Fire Engine onto Dundalk neighborhood streets. The Santa/Fire Engine tour will run from Friday, Nov. 27 to Monday, Dec. 22 starting at 6 p.m.

Saturday, Nov. 28 at 5 p.m.
Middle River Lighted Boat Parade
The Middle River Parade of Lighted Boats will kick off the Holiday Season by lighting up Middle River area with the best display of boats in the area on Saturday, Nov. 28 starting at 5:30 p.m.

Sunday, Nov. 29 from 5 to 7 p.m.
Dundalk Community Tree Lighting
The Eastern Regional Lions Club is hosting the Dundalk Community Tree Lighting at Poplar Place Shopping Center at the intersection of Wise Avenue and Merritt Boulevard. Social distancing and masks are required.

Saturday, Dec. 5 at 5 p.m.
Essex Tree Lighting and Open House
Heritage Society of Essex and Middle River will continue its tradition of holding its annual Essex Community Tree lighting on Saturday, Dec. 5 from 5 to 7 p.m. This is a free event with social distancing and masks required.

Bear Creek’s first annual Lighted Boat Parade
The Dundalk area is having a holiday parade on the water as Bear Creek’s first annual Lighted Boat Parade is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 5 at 5:30 p.m. This event is presented and organized by Bear Creek Sailing Association and hosted by the Hard Yacht Cafe.
Boaters that want to participate in the parade are encouraged to register their boat at http://bearcreeksailing.com.
