Man Arrested in Fatal Parkville Crabs Crash


85-year-old Louis Anthony Fernandez, after review by the Baltimore County State’s Attorney’s Office, has been charged with manslaughter, reckless driving and other related charges in connection to the fatal motor vehicle accident that happened on Dec., 2020 in Parkville on Harford Road between Taylor and Lavender Avenue.

Deanna Jean Allik (35) of the 8100 block of Harford Road was killed in a fatal crash at Parkville Crabs when a Subaru Outback that was on the parking lot drove through the glass window area at the front of the business.

Essex Shooting Reported in Middleborough Area


Detectives are investigating a shooting that occurred just after 6 p.m., on April 21, 2021 in the Essex area near Lanflair and Dargun roads.

Responding officers located an adult male suffering from at least one gunshot wounds to the lower body. He was transported to an area hospital in critical but stable condition.

Commercial Building Fire in Edgemere

Baltimore County Fire Crews reported a commerical building fire in Edgemere on Wednesday, April 22 at 9 a.m.

Crews arrived to heavy smoke conditions from a commercial building in the 8200 block of Fischer Road. Crews extinguished a conveyor belt fire around 9:24 a.m.

No injuries reported at this time.

Missing Man Found Dead in Dundalk Water


Middle River Volunteer Fire & Rescue reported that their dive team conducted a water rescue at Merritt Point Park in Dundalk.

A car was reported submerged under water on Thursday, April 15 around 5 p.m.

Police reported 72-year-old Alfonso Bryan was recovered from the scene along with his car

Bryan was reported missing and was last seen on April 9, in the area of Stemmers Run Rd. in Essex.

The circumstances surrounding his death remain under investigation.

Woman Killed in Single Auto Crash


Baltimore County Police continue their investigation into a single-vehicle crash that killed a woman this morning.

Officers responded to North Point and Maple Roads in the Dundalk on Thursday, April 15 just before 1:50 a.m. after a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado left the roadway and struck a tree. The occupant of the vehicle, 37-year-old Kristin Dewald, was transported to an area hospital where she was pronounced deceased.

The Baltimore County Police Crash Investigation Team is continuing their work to determine the factors involved in this fatal crash.

Pedestrian Killed on Pulaski HIghway in White Marsh


Baltimore County Police reported that 31-year-old Megan Frazier of the 1200 block of Fairley Way in East Baltimore died Saturday morning at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center after she was hit by a vehicle last night.

Frazier was struck by a 2019 Toyota Tacoma as she crossed the eastbound lanes of the 11000 block of Pulaski Highway in White Marsh just after 11:30 p.m. on April 9. Frazier did not cross at the crosswalk. The driver of the Toyota remained at the scene.

The Baltimore County Police Crash Team is continuing its investigation to determine the factors involved in this fatal crash.

Arrest Made in Attempted Kidnapping Case


Baltimore County Police have arrested and charged 24-year-old Jawuan Williams with Kidnapping, second degree assault and other related charges in connection to the attempted kidnapping of a 12-year-old girl in the 4400 block of Fullerton Avenue.

The attempted kidnapping was reported on April 3 around 4:30 p.m.

Williams is being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center on a no-bail status pending a bail review hearing.

Pedestrian Killed Near Martin State Airport


Baltimore County Police are investigating a fatal crash in Middle River on Tuesday.

The accident occurred on April 6 just after 3:50 p.m. at Martin State Airport located in the 700 block of Wilson Point Road.

The pedestrian, Marion Cieplak Jr. (68) of Esworthy Road was pronounced deceased on scene after being struck by a 2002 Ford F3-50.

The Baltimore County Police Crash Team is continuing its investigation to determine the factors involved in this fatal crash.

Attempted Kidnapping Reported in Fullerton


Detectives are investigating an attempted kidnapping and assault that occurred on Saturday in the Fullerton area.

At approximately on April 3 around 4:30 p.m., a 12-year-old female was walking in the 4400 block of Fullerton Avenue when she was approached by an unknown man who assaulted her and then pulled her into his vehicle.

The girl was able to escape from the vehicle and then flagged down a passing motorist for assistance.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 20 – 30 years old, with a slender build, and a goatee.

The suspect’s vehicle is described as a silver Nissan Altima.
