Two People Injured in Motorcycle Crash


Baltimore County Police are investigating a motor vehicle crash in Dundalk on Tuesday evening that left two people with life threatening injuries.

Police responded to Holabird Avenue and East Avenue on Tuesday, Aug. 11 at 5:30 p.m. for a call of a motorcycle crash.

The preliminary investigation revealed that the motorcycle was traveling East on Holabird Avenue, passing traffic on the right that was stopped in traffic.

A Chevrolet Impala made a right turn from northbound East Avenue onto eastbound Holabird Avenue. The motorcycle struck the front of the Chevrolet causing serious injury to the driver and passenger of the motorcycle.

Both were transported to local hospitals with life-threatening injuries.

The Baltimore County Police Crash Team is continuing their investigation.

Person Killed by Train in Middle River

Baltimore County Police are investigating a fatal crash involving a pedestrian struck by a CSX train.

Just after 8 p.m. on August 11 police responded to the area of Pulaski Highway and Middle River Roadway for a call of a person struck by a train.

The preliminary investigation revealed that the victim, an adult male, was walking along the train tracks when he was struck and killed. The investigation is on-going.

Third Person Dies From Ebenezer Road Crash


The Baltimore County Crash Team reported that the third and front passenger in the July 23 crash on Ebenezer Road has died. He is identified as Conrad Ellsworth, 89, of the 600 block of Bowleys Quarters Road in Middle River.

This crash happened after a vehicle struck another vehicle and a utility pole. The accident also claimed the lives of Shirley Ellsworth (84), and the rear passenger, identified as Leona Schleicher (83), also of the 600 block of Bowleys Quarters Road.

The Baltimore County Crash Team continues to investigate this crash.

Tornado Watch in Effect for Area


The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Watch in effect this morning until noon for Baltimore County and portions of northeast, central, and southern Maryland, including the adjacent marine zones.

Arrests Made After Juveniles Assault Victims


Baltimore County police responded to the area of Silver Spring Road and Honeygo Boulevard in Perry Hall for calls of several assaults on Aug. 2 after 10 a.m.

The preliminary investigation revealed that two juvenile suspects assaulted three victims with an aerosol spray. One victim was sprayed through her open car window. The suspects then continued driving around and assaulted two more victims with the spray, one who jogged outside and another who had just walked out of her home.

The suspects saw responding officers and quickly drove away, fleeing the scene. Shortly afterward, the suspects crashed into another car traveling on Perring Parkway near Taylor Avenue in Parkville. The suspects ran from the vehicle but were arrested by officers a short distance away. Officers are investigating the suspects for other unrelated crimes. The driver of the car the suspects crashed into was not injured.

Officer Rescued From Vehicle in Parkville


Baltimore County Police have reported that a police officer was trapped in an overturn vehicle in Parkville.

Baltimore County Police received a high-priority call in the Parkville area. An officer responding to the call activated his emergency equipment on the marked police car and was traveling northbound on Harford Road near Acton Road

At the same time, a 2015 Acura TLZ was traveling northbound on Harford Road and attempted to make a left turn into a parking lot along Acton Road. Several cars were stopped behind the turning Acura.

As the police vehicle approached the stopped traffic, the officer continued north into the southbound lane of Harford Road, striking the Acura.

After the crash, the police vehicle rolled over and struck the front door and wall of a business located in the 8500 block of Harford Road

Both the officer and the driver of the Acura were transported to local hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.
