Police have arrested Karon Dajon Harvell (26) in the shooting of a man on Hazelwood Avenue Saturday, July 6.
Harvell is charged with Attempted First Degree Murder, First and Second Degree Assault, Armed Robbery and Robbery and remains held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center following a bail review hearing as of July 8.
Officers responded to the 4800 block of Hazelwood Avenue just before midnight for a shooting after a 27-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to the lower body during an attempted street robbery. The victim fought back and the suspects fled the scene.
The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment and is expected to survive his wounds.
