Baltimore County Police have charged a 22-year-old man with the July 12 shooting on Shawnee Court in Parkville.
Police Investigating July 12th Afternoon Shooting of the unit-block of Shawnee Court has been charged with attempted first-degree murder, first-degree assault and the use of a firearm in a crime of violence.
Just after 2:30 p.m. on July 12, Baltimore County Police received a call for a shooting on Shawnee Court. Officers arrived and found the victim, a 23 year old man suffering from a single gunshot wound to the upper body. The man was taken to a local hospital, where he is expected to survive his injuries. Detectives from the Violent Crimes Unit were able to determine that the shooting was targeted over an on-going dispute.
Barnes is being held at the Baltimore County Department of Corrections on a denied bail status. A photograph is not available at this time.
