Eastern Tech senior, Isaac Ngobu, has recently been selected as the Outstanding High School Male Soccer Player for 2019 by the Maryland Soccer Legends Association. This award means that he and his parents will be invited to the Maryland Soccer Hall of Fame Dinner and Induction Ceremony which will be held on Friday, May 10th. At the dinner, Ngobu will be presented with a commemorative plaque and a scholarship check for $1000.
Ngobu was an integral member of Eastern Tech’s 2017 state championship team and led the 2018 Mavericks squad to their second consecutive County Championship, defeating Towson 4-0, before falling to Hereford 1-0 in the Regional Semi-final match.
