Man Injured in Rosedale Shooting

Investigators from the Baltimore County Police Violent Crimes Unit are continuing their investigation into a weekend shooting in Rosedale.

Police were responding to the area of Hazelwood Avenue and Willann Road around 3:47 a.m. Saturday, April 6 for a call of shots fired when a patrol officer was flagged down near Philadelphia Road and Golden Ring Road by a driver taking the victim to the hospital.

The victim flagged down the driver while fleeing the area after suffering a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the upper body. Medics responded and transported the victim, 29, to an area hospital where he is expected to recover.
