2022 Eastern Baltimore County Holiday Schedule


Here is a list of holiday events in Eastern Baltimore County for 2022. There are still many events that are missing on the calendar. We are waiting for some events to either send us information or to post it on their page. This page will be updated with new events as soon as we are notified. The Wise Avenue Volunteer Fire Company Train Garden opens this Saturday, Nov. 26 and will run until Monday, Jan. 2.

Middle River Parade of Lighted Boats Returns Thanksgiving Saturday
The 22nd annual Middle River Parade of Lighted Boats takes place Saturday, Nov. 26 starting at 5:30 p.m. in the Middle River waterways.

Maryland Aviation Museum to Host Train Garden
The Glenn L. Martin Maryland Aviation Museum’s 9th annual Plane and Train Garden will run from Nov. 26 to Jan. 15 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m at the 5 Story Office Building at 2323 Eastern Blvd. in Middle River.

Perry Hall Community Tree Lighting to be Held Friday
The Perry Hall Improvement Assocation will hold its annual tree lighting on Friday, Dec. 2 at 7 p.m. at Perry Hall Elementary School, 9021 Belair Road.

THE AVENUE Announces Holiday Parade Lineup
The AVENUE at White Marsh will hold its 25th Annual Holiday Parade on Saturday, Dec. 3rd, starting at 10 a.m

DRC to Hold Holiday Hoopla
The Dundalk Renaissance Corp. will hold their Holiday Hoopla on the afternoon of Saturday, Dec. 3 at Historic Dundalk Town Center

Essex Community Tree Lighting at the Museum
The Essex Community Tree Lighting will be held by the Essex Heritage Society of Essex and Middle River, Inc. at 5 p.m.

Bear Creek Boat Parade Returns to Dundalk
Bear Creek Lighted Boat Parade is back again for its 3rd year and is scheduled for Dec. 3 at 5 p.m. starting at the Hard Yacht Cafe.

Saturday, Dec. 10
Dundalk Christmas Tree Lighting Returns for 4th Year
The 4th annual Dundalk Christmas Tree Lighting will be held on Saturday, Dec. 10 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Poplar Place Shopping Center

Essex VFC to Hold Tree Lighting
The Essex Volunteer Fire Company will hold a tree lighting on Saturday, Dec. 10 from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Back River United Methodist Church, 544 Back River Neck Road.

Bowleys Quarters Volunteer Fire Rescue & Marine have released their schedule for their 2022 Santa Detail.

NPEVFD Announces Santa Detail Schedule
The North Point Edgemere Volunteer Department Santa Detail will take place from Dec. 12 to Dec. 16. All times start at 5:30 p.m.
Middle River Volunteer Fire and Rescue Announces 2022 Santa Detail
The Middle River Volunteer Fire and Rescue released its schedule for its 2022 Santa Detail. All details start at 6 p.m. except on Dec. 24 at 5:30 p.m.
Santa on Fire Truck Returns to Dundalk
The Wise Avenue Volunteer Fire Company is once again bringing Santa around the Dundalk community.
Santa to Visit Kingsville Area
The Kingsville Volunteer Fire Company announced their Santa Detail Schedule for 2002. It will run the week of Dec. 14 to Dec. 18. The nightly tours start at 6 p.m.

Middle River Fire and Rescue released their Santa detail schedule for 2021. It will start on Monday, Dec. 20 and end on Friday, Dec. 24.

Essex VFC Launches Interactive Map for Santa Visits


–Google maps-

The Essex Volunteer Fire Company will continue their tradition of having Santa tours on their engines. This year Essex VFC has created an interactive Google map where residents can track all of the streets Santa will be visiting in the Essex area.

The Santa tour starts at 6 p.m. and will run from Tuesday, Dec. 14 until Dec. 23.

Listing will be placed on the Essex VFC Facebook page and there is more information on the interactive Google map.

Santa Detail Has Returned to Dundalk

The Wise Avenue Volunteer Fire Company has released its schedule for its Santa detail in the Dundalk neighborhoods.

All visits are subjected to change with weather and service calls. Santa starts his tour 5 p.m. on weekends and 6 p.m. on weeknights

If residents live on a small street/court and or dead end, they are asked to go the nearest corner to see Santa.

Perry Hall Community Tree Lighting to be Held Sunday, Dec. 5


The Perry Hall Improvement Association and Perry Hall White Marsh Business Association will hold the Perry Hall Community Tree Lighting on Sunday, Dec. 5 at 6:30 p.m.

The ceremony will be held at the corner of Belair and Joppa Roads near the Perry Hall Animal Hospital.

Through a Baltimore County grant, the Perry Hall Improvement Association and Perry Hall White Marsh Business Association planted a Norway spruce at the location.

Dundalk Christmas Tree Lighting Returns


The 3rd annual Dundalk Christmas Tree Lighting will be held Saturday, Dec. 11 from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at the Poplar Place Center at the corner of Wise Avenue and Merritt Boulevard.

The event is free and will have snacks, drinks, hats, gloves and toys.

Bubble blowing-fire shooting Purkey Party Pumper firetruck will lead the Parade of Santa and Mrs. Claus accompanied by Elf on the Shelf, the Grinch, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Erl Lion, and friends! Children are invited to the North Point Library for crafts from 4:30-5:30pm. Santa arrives at 5:45pm (Poplar Place), and pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus are from 6-7 p.m.

*Baltimore County Police will help attendees cross from the Library to the Shopping Center

The event is being hosted by the Eastern Regional LIONS CLUB.

Dundalk Patapsco Neck Historical Society Train Garden Returns


The Dundalk Patapsco Neck Historical Society Train Garden returns for the holiday season on Sunday, Nov. 28 and will run until Sunday, Jan. 2.

It will open Monday to Friday from 3 to 7 p.m. and will open ​Saturdays & Sundays from 1 to 7 p.m. The historical center is located at 4 Center Place – Opposite the Post Office- in historic Dundalk town center.

The event is free and this is the 21st year of their train garden.

 Overlea Community Tree Lighting Set for Dec. 11th


The Overlea Community Association will hold the 8th Annual Overlea Community Tree Lighting will be held Saturday, Dec. 11 at 7 p.m. at Overlea Fullerton Community Center, 7209 Belair Road.

Josie Baltimore and the St. Michaels/St. Clement Choir will perform. The Rosedale Volunteer Fire Company will arrive with Santa giving out gifts for children. The Holt Park and Center for the Arts will provide activities and the Boy Scouts will have gifts for sale.

The snow date for this event is Sunday, Dec. 12.
